Muhyeddin Ercan


Short Bio

Muhyeddin Ercan was born and raised in Turkey. He graduated  from Private Aziziye High School with an honor degree. He received his BS in Physics from Koc University, Turkey in 2008. He worked as a high school teacher in Istanbul for 2 years. Since received his MS degree from UCA Computer Science Department in 2012, he has been working as a Computer Science Teacher and High School College Counselor at TX. USA.

Thesis

"Fractal Methods as a Prognostic Factor to Determine Malignancy in Dermoscopy", MS in Applied Computing at UCA, May 2012.

3rd place in  the U.S. finals of the Microsoft Imagine Cup 2011 for software design category. 
Team UCA Ursus — sophomore Brendan Lee of Alma and Muhyeddin Ercan, an international graduate student from Turkey — competed against students from Harvard, Drexel University, University of Pennsylvania, Central Connecticut State University, Wayne State University, University of Michigan, Arizona State University, Brigham Young University, University of California-Los Angeles and University of Arkansas-Little Rock.
